2D Animation | Breaking of Joints
An animated loop of a police dog signing to a cat driver. This concept is inspired by the art of Zootopia, where anthropomorphic animals live in harmony. The exercise was to demonstrate our knowledge of "breaking of joints" and in addition "the wave principle" .
This is the initial draft of the shot, where I drew in the key frames necessary. I later pushed the silhouette of the dog as well as simplified his pose to draw attention to his upper body. I also added a tail wag just for fun, since we practiced wave principle in class.
